The older Ryuutaro wasn't as highly interested in how his looks were perceived as his younger self had been, but that certainly didn't mean he wouldn't appreciate a compliment. Especially not one coming from Hayato, after all this time. That he'd still attempt flirting with him like that was most likely a really good sign, too. Good sign for what exactly, Ryuutaro wasn't sure. He yet had to fully figure out how he actually felt on things at all. Ryuutaro smiled, obviously very pleased. "You flatter me. I have to return the compliment however, you look very good as well." It sounded almost awkward to his own ears, but he managed to say it without any hesitation or unnaturality. Pretty good, considering he hadn't spoken even vaguely flirtratious words for years. His eyes wandered over the room.
"How long have you been back here?" It was easier than asking how long he'd been gone, for sure.
